April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born July 4, 1995. As a seventh-grade student, she started taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm for songwriting. at the age of 12, April composed her first single Different. When she was 14, April spent lots of time writing lyrics and perfecting her music abilities. In the following months she began to take notes along with her father to LA or NY. April began including other topics in the book, Take My Hand, for the people in her life who are struggling with disabilities, peer pressure or even suicidal thoughts. Lockhart is a beauty and lifestyle influencer who is gaining a loyal following. She collaborates with famous brand Ilia with whom she has a partnership as well as being a lifestyle expert. She has a disability that is part of her identity, but it is not the whole of the picture. The profile of Lockhart on Instagram does not hide her disability but doesn't focus solely on it. The main message? The message? That we each contain multitudes, that our bodies and identities may not be as they appear. Lockhart declared in video form she didn't want to be defined solely by the condition she has. She doesn't wish to be a disability advocate one who focuses only on it. There is a lot of aspects that make up Lockhart. And it doesn't affect my daily life. I conduct things normally, and I've discovered the best way for me to adapt to things. It's a big aspect of my existence, which is why it's crucial to discuss the subject. Self-acceptance is a long marathon but Lockhart is a true inspiration in this regard. She admits that she has been through times when she was uncomfortable dressing in certain styles that revealed her arms. Today, she wears anything she likes and uploads photos in those outfits to social networks with pride. She claims that self-love is a journey. It's hard to say if you'll ever make it to the finish line. But I think that's with every person, whatever their vulnerability may be. The people that you associate yourself with, who know you and see right into your soul are those who remind you about the importance of your life.
